Are you interested in health-related issues?

Does working in a medical office sound exciting?  Ever wanted to be in the health field without dealing with the blood and guts? If so, a state-of- the-art lab and real experience makes this the perfect place to prepare for a career in a medical office.

Your two years in the program will be filled with coursework that trains you for your future in medical office procedures, medical records, medical reports, medical terminology, medical transcription, and medical office software. College preparatory coursework and the completion of Algebra I by the start of the program is recommended.

Positions are available in this field directly out of high school. To increase opportunities for advancement, employers recommend a two- to four-year degree. Successful students can get on the fast track to continuing education with the availability of credits through the following colleges:
