If you are an analytical thinker, technologically oriented, and good in math and science, then this is the program for you! Students study basic electricity, electronics, telecommunications, and computer hardware and networking and then apply it to robotics, multimedia semiconductors, digital and microprocessors, and programming. Students will also have the opportunity to earn their A+ and copper cabling certifications.

Students interested in the Electronics program at Eastland Career Center should have a strong math foundation. College preparatory coursework and the completion of Algebra I by the start of the program is also recommended.

Most employers are seeking candidates with a two- to four-year degree to work in this field. Get a jump start on college with the availability of college credits.
