Head of the Class.

Do you have the passion to make a difference and influence children and guide them as they grow up? The Teaching Professions program located in the state-of-the-art classroom at Gahanna Lincoln High School’s Clark Hall and Reynoldsburg High School Livingston Campus gives you an opportunity to develop skills in designing learning environments and classroom management. In addition to learning in the classroom, students in this program will participate in shadowing experiences, internships, and field trips to prepare for a career as a teacher.

College preparatory coursework and the completion of Algebra I by the start of the program is recommended. Get on the fast track with the availability of college credits.

Make the grade.

Careers in this field require education beyond high school.  Students successfully completing a course portfolio could receive Introduction to Teaching credit at public universities in Ohio.  Other agreements with area colleges are in process to help you get there faster.
