High School Equivalency Test

Program Overview

Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools Adult Workforce Development Center offers High School Equivalency testing as well as FREE preparation classes. The State of Ohio utilizes three testing assessment companies for the High School Equivalency test: GED, HiSET, and TASC. Each option will vary in structure, cost, and scoring requirements. 

Registration Requirements

  • Age 18 or older (students that are 16-18 years of age must have official high school withdrawal documentation on their home school's district letterhead or evidence of a high school diploma)

  • Bring at least one form of identification with your printed name

  • Must attend and complete a two-part New Student Orientation and assessments provided by Eastland-Fairfield.

HSE Orientation

The orientation program is a two-day program. Students are provided two time options per day. Students entering the HSE program must attend one session on each day of the orientation program.

To apply for a spot for an upcoming HSE/GED orientation, please complete the interest form by clicking the Interest Form button.

Please bring documentation that displays your printed name.

If a spot is available for an upcoming orientation, an Eastland-Fairfield staff member will provide you details about your orientation session

Important Note

Seats to HSE/GED classes are limited. Completing the interest form does not guarantee an individual a spot to an orientation or HSE/GED prep class. If a seat is not open but you are interested in a future orientation or class, you will be added to a wait list.

HSE Class Information

Once you are officially registered to begin your HSE preparation course, you can attend classes in-person, self-study online, or have limited live online classes with teachers.
