Teaching Professions Students Advance to National Competition
Teaching Professions students pose for photo at Ohio Educators Rising Conference March 17, 2017Congratulations to Eastland-Fairfield Teaching Professions students Madison Scheiner and MaKencie Wilson, who were elected to the 2017-2018 Educators Rising state officer team at the organization’s state conference in Columbus earlier this month. Scheiner, of New Albany, will serve as president and Wilson, of Whitehall, will serve at the vice president of recruitment and membership.

They will attend the Educators Rising National Conference June 23-26 in Phoenix, Arizona. Several other Teaching Professions students qualify to attend the national conference, after placing in the state-level competitions. They are listed below.

Teaching Professions instructor Robyn Hilderbrand was recognized as the Educators Rising Ohio Teacher Leader of the Year. “Robyn was recognized…due to her positive attitude and willingness to think creatively to resolve issues,” said Angela Dicke, State Coordinator of Award Programs & Educators Rising-Ohio. “She does everything with extraordinary passion and commitment. She is so dedicated to her students and her future,” added Paul R. Kauffman, State Advisor and Treasurer of Educators Rising-Ohio.
