Students learn proper chairside procedures and techniques, x-ray exposure, processing, and mounting, office-management technology, practice sterilization techniques, mix restorative and impression materials, and make lab projects such as bleach trays, mouth guards and clear retainers. Clinical experience and professionalism are put into practice at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
Students can earn State Certification for Dental Assisting, State X-Ray Certificate, and Certification in First Aid and CPR.
