PaySchools Central FAQs


WHY MOVE AWAY FROM EZ PAY?

Eastland-Fairfield prides itself on finding the most innovative and efficient technologies to serve our parents, students, staff, and stakeholders. As our contract with EZ Pay came under review, we explored new and better ways to serve you, which led us to PaySchools Central.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MONEY THAT WAS ON MY EZ PAY ACCOUNT?

Any funds that remained on your EZ Pay account will automatically be transferred to your new PaySchools Central account. If you wish to withdraw those funds, please allow them to transfer to your PaySchools Central account and then withdraw.


IF I HAVE A PAYSCHOOLS CENTRAL ACCOUNT THROUGH MY CHILD'S HOME SCHOOL, CAN I USE THAT ACCOUNT INSTEAD?

Even if you have PaySchools Central account for your child through their homeschool you must set up a new account to manage their Eastland-Fairfield fees and lunch program. Funds will not transfer from one PaySchools account to another. Please be mindful of what account you are placing funds on when doing so.

NOTE: When creating your new PaySchools account please either use an email address different from your home school PaySchools account. If you are using a Gmail account, you can use the same address IF when you register you add "+1" to the user name. 

Example: [email protected]  would be used as  [email protected]  when registering your new PaySchools account 

WILL I HAVE TO RE-APPLY FOR THE FREE/REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM IF I ALREADY HAVE THROUGH EZ PAY?

Yes. The previous system used to sign up for free and reduced lunches will not integrate with PaySchools Central, so you will need to apply through PaySchools Central to ensure enrollment. We apologize for the inconvenience.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PAYSCHOOLS CENTRAL AND QUIKPAY?

PaySchools Central is the system used for everyday management and payment towards meal plans, events and school fees.


QuikPay is the system that receives your application for free and reduced lunches. Once you apply for the program through QuikPay, all business thereafter will be managed through PaySchools Central.


CAN I USE THIS FROM MY MOBILE DEVICE?

Yes! The PaySchools Central app is available on Android devices through Google Play and Apple devices through the App Store. Links are available on our PaySchools Central webpage or you can search the app stores for “PaySchools Mobile” to download. 


WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE IN PAYSCHOOLS CENTRAL?

To make payments or place money on your students’ account, PaySchools Central will accept all major credit or debit cards, or AHC bank account transactions.
