
Program Overview
The Plumbing program is a full-time, 720-clock hour certificate course. This program combines classroom, laboratory and hands-on learning experiences enabling students to become proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.
Included in the instruction is the theory and application of basic principles germane to installing and servicing various plumbing systems; learning the identity and application of various fittings, valves, and fixtures; the use of technical reference manuals; the diagnosis of malfunctions; the overhaul, repair and adjustments of valves and parts in pumps, pipes, tubing, valves, springs, and connections; the repair of electric controlled fixtures and valves; and plumbing skills necessary to install complete plumbing systems.

Technology Requirements
All necessary technology is provided to students in each classroom and lab during normal class hours. Students who wish to access school email or Canvas (our learning management system) outside of normal class hours will need access to the internet and a personal device.
