This is a one-year, senior-only program designed to put students on the right path toward obtaining an STNA licensure or similar credential.

The world is in need of people who care for others and the STNA program is a place where you can use your turn your passion to serve people into a rewarding career. Just as the needs of your patients may vary, so too can the places a career as an STNA may take you. After completing the STNA program, you will be ready to meet those needs and be ready for wherever the job may take you.

Students will learn the basic skills in patient and health care including feeding, bathing, personal hygiene, catheter care, monitoring vital signs, and mobilizing patients. Students will be prepared to enter a variety of industry settings including assisted living facilities, hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, residential care facilities, or even in the patient’s home.

ADDITIONAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Per the Ohio Department of Health, additional vaccination, attendance, and identification mandates are required to participate or complete certain experiences within this program.
