Holding it together.
Welding is an essential part of the structure of our world. From military bases, space centers, labs, hospitals, factories, and construction sites all around the world to the local welding/repair shop in your home town, welding is in high demand everywhere!
Students in this program learn to design, build, and repair projects using many types of welding such as: Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc, and Flux Cored Arc. Certification opportunities available: OSHA Safety Standards 10 and OSHA Safety Standards 30.
Seniors in the program may begin their welding careers right away, or take their education to a higher level after graduation. Apprenticeship programs are also available after high school.
College credits are also available through the (CT)2 process through Ohio Board of Regents. To learn more about college credits at Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools, please visit our college credit web page.
