Students in Eastland-Fairfield's Multimedia program at Pickerington North High School move on to the State BPA contest after competing in various digital media contests sponsored by Business Professionals of America 
Eastland Students Advance to State BPA Competition
Nearly 50 Eastland Career Center students advance to the BPA State Leadership Conference in Columbus March 17-18, 2016. The students competed against other career center students from Region 14 in the February 2 contest at Eastland Career Center. If they win or qualify from the state competition, they will advance to the National Conference May 5-9 in Boston. 
Financial Services Instructor to Capitalize on Her Assets
When Jane Briggs started teaching in 1984, she used typewriters and mimeographs. Students would be hard-pressed to find either of those in today’s classroom. “It really was a dividing year in technology,” she said. “Computers weren’t in the high schools when I began and of course there was no internet. We had rotary phones!”

Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville), Rep. Ryan Smith (R-Bidwell, 93rd District) and Sen. Kevin Bacon (R-Minerva Park, 3rd District) met with administrators and students and toured the campus. 
Dealership Donates Car to Allow Auto Technology Students to Learn Valuable Skills
Fairfield Career Center has a new toy to tinker with in its Auto Technology program: a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. It’s thanks to the hard work of the people at Jeff Wyler Chevrolet of Columbus and a generous donation from Three-Way Chevrolet Cadillac in Bakersfield, California.
