Two Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools students have been selected to serve as SkillsUSA Ohio State Officers for the 2026-27 school year, earning one of just seven officer positions available statewide.
To earn this honor, students competed against candidates from career centers across Ohio through a rigorous selection process that included campaign presentations, speeches and impromptu interview questions. Their selection reflects not only their leadership skills, but also their dedication, professionalism and commitment to SkillsUSA.
Congratulations to the following students on this outstanding achievement:
Diana Silva Salazar – Dental Assisting, Eastland Career Center, New Albany High School
Dhruv Das – Cyber Security, New Albany High School
Eastland-Fairfield is proud of both students for the hard work they put into the selection process and for representing the district at the state level. As SkillsUSA Ohio State Officers, they will help lead and represent the organization throughout the upcoming school year.
